The tests are open to all breeds, the same rules and restrictions apply.
The minimum age requirement for the OBT and the WTE is 12 months,
for the BST and WST 18 months.
For testing the following requirements must be met:
- A copy of dogs registration papers.
- Completed registration forms.
- All dogs must have a tattoo or microchip.
Dogs being tested for the BST must be an American Bulldog and also submit the following:
- A three generation pedigree.
- A photograph of dog taken from side.
(Photos are for the NWDA records and will not be returned.)
- Vet certified weight, dated within two months of test date.
- Copy of an OFA certificate with a rating of borderline or better, or a copy of a PennHip evaluation in its entirety, done after the age of 12 months, with a maximum D.I. of .54 (subject to change) and no evidence of HD or DJD. OFA pre-lims are not accepted. Must be turned in within six (6) weeks from date of BST test date.
The entry fees are as follows:
Falsified or fraudulent documents discovered at any time will cause all titles awarded by the NWDA to any and all dogs owned by the guilty party to be permanently revoked with no refunds of any fees previously paid.
